Customer Reviews
If you're not using a RigRunner . . . By
to power your ham shack, you're really missing out. I've been using a 4012 for several years now and I wouldn't be without it.

The unit affords ease of connection, circuit protection for each connected device and makes the DC power wiring problem no longer a problem.

I have a 40A (cont) mains PS charging 200 Ah of AGM batteries through a Super PWRGate 40S and then on to the 4012.

My entire shack is powered from that system and operates flawlessly whether on mains power or on battery backup due to grid failure. Which is not uncommon here in NC TX.

Our ham club does several bike races and a couple SETs each year and the 4012 makes it a breeze to grab a radio and head out. No fighting with a spaghetti mess of wiring, just unplug the radio and GO.

If you're looking for a great solution to the DC wiring mess in your shack, grab one of the RigRunners and clean up the mess. I'm going to get a 4005 here soon to use when we deploy the Solar Powered Ham Station in the pickup.
