Victron's Quattro 12/5000 seamlessly merges a 5 kVA inverter, high-capacity charger, and dual-input transfer switching in one unit. It can accept two independent AC sources (shore/generator) and switch in <20 ms for uninterrupted loads, while PowerAssist boosts limited shore or generator power from the battery when needed. VE.Bus enables advanced system builds, from parallel power stacking to split-phase and three-phase installations.

  • DC System Voltage: 12 V (input range 9.5–17 V).
  • Inverter Rating: 5000 VA / 4000 W continuous @ 25 °C (peak 10 kW); 120 VAC ±2%, 60 Hz.
  • Transfer Switch / AC Inputs: Two AC inputs with integrated transfer; max feed-through 2×100 A.
  • AC Outputs: Main output with no-break UPS function (<20 ms); second output live only when AC input is present.
  • Charger (House): 200 A adaptive, temp-compensated.
  • Charger (Starter/Alt Battery): 4 A.
  • PowerAssist / PowerControl: Limits shore/gen draw and supplements with battery power during peaks.
  • System Integration: VE.Bus for parallel, split-phase, and three-phase configurations; remote monitoring via GX/VRM.
  • Efficiency & Idle: Max efficiency 94%; zero-load 30 W (Search mode ~12 W).
  • Dimensions / Weight: 18.5 × 14.0 × 11.2 in; ~75 lb.
  • Enclosure / Terminals: IP21; four M8 battery bolts; screw-terminal AC connections.
