Crimping Tool
The TRIcrimp® crimping tool was exclusively designed to provide a positive crimp on the 15, 30 & 45 amp contacts manufactured by Anderson Power Products for the Powerpole® line of products. It has the following features.

  • Crimps all three sizes of Powerpole® contacts; 15, 30 and 45 amp
  • Built-in contact positioner that holds the contact during crimping
  • Ratchet mechanism assures proper crimps every time
  • Far faster and better than soldering
  • Provides the highest strength and the lowest resistance connections possible
  • Dimensions: 7.75" X 3" X 1.5"
  • Weight: 20 ounces
  • High Contact retention force

Contacts & Jaw Position

The 3 contacts have different amp ratings:

  • 15 Amp (SKU: 1332) is designed to receive 16, 18 and 20 gauge wire.
  • 30 Amp (SKU: 1331) is designed to receive 12, 14 gauge wire.
  • 45 Amp (SKU: 261G2) is designed to receive 10 gauge wire.

The contact size corresponds to the position marking on the die. The 15 amp contact goes into the 15 amp position, the 30 amp into the 30 position, and 45 amp into the 45 position.

Assembly Instructions 15 & 30 Amp

To crimp the 15 & 30 amp contacts it is recommended that you insert the wire into the contact prior to inserting them into the tool. Then, with the flat side of the contact down, insert the contact tip into the proper slot for crimping.

Squeeze the ratchet handle until the ratchet mechanism releases. Do not over crimp by squeezing the handles together until they touch, it is possible to break the die.

Assembly Instructions 45 Amp

To crimp the 45 amp contact it is recommended that you position the tip of the 45 amp contact into the 45 amp position slot before the wire is inserted. Make sure the contact is properly positioned with the U (open contact) facing up. If the contact is lying sideways you may not obtain a proper crimp. Then, insert your wire into the inserted contact.

Squeeze the ratchet handle until the ratchet mechanism releases. Do not over crimp by squeezing the handles together until they touch, it is possible to break the die.

Great delivery By
Of course  I have known for years that Powerpoles are an excellent product.  What impresses me today, and has impressed me in the past, is the reliability of the folks at Powerwerx in putting these excellent products in my hands without hassle and without delay.  Thursday afternoon I ordered some Powerpole stuff, and it was delivered on my porch, 2500 miles away, before noon today, Saturday.  Who else does that?  Who else CAN do that?  Thanks, Powerwerx!

I won't use anything else again! By
I just bought this kit for powering my Ham and GMRS radios. It is by far the fastest, easiest way to make up quality connectors I've found in my 60 years of experience! Now I can power my radios by battery or, by power supply and, charge the batteries with the same connectors no matter the make or model, simply and easily. Thanks Anderson and Powerwerx!

I had never used Power Poles before By
On the suggestion of a fellow in the Mohave Amateur Radio Club, Rick, I looked into using Anderson Power Poles, and when I saw this set it impressed me with it's completeness. So far I've used it to crimp all three sizes of connectors and every time it makes perfect connections.

POWERWERX By
I was looking for reliable Anderson connectors and I found POWERWERX.
Ordered a few items from them and I received before time, meticulously packed and delivered.
I had one simple enquiry, very insignificant though, and one of POWERWERX Engineers reached out to solve the puzzle.
POWERWERX is a very reliable and very professional Company.
I’d wholeheartedly recommend Powerwerx to all.
Thank you.

Great package By
Well made bag with oversized zipper that’ll last for a long time of abuse. The TriCrimp tool is awesome. Effordless and precise crimping. The little plastic box with connectors was perhaps abit...budget...but it works. All connector hardware is top notch!

I wish Powerwerx had these when I got into PowerPoles! By
But I'm glad they have them now!  If you don't already have the crimp tool, I would suggest buying this kit instead, then you'll be set!

Great value and price By
This kit is nice for an amateur radio operator. The nylon bag is large enough to allow for my digital multi-meter and a wire stripper in addition to the crimping tool and Powerpole case. I was very pleased with the quality of crimps that produced on all three sizes of terminals. Installing the Powerpoles to the ARES standard was straightforward. Having Powerpoles on all of my radios and power supplies will make re-configuring a snap with no worries about crossed polarity.

Extremely Pleased A++++++ Product By
I received my PowerPole bag today, and immediately put it to use.
I'm an R/C Model airplane pilot/builder.
I've used T-Connectrors (Deans) for over 10 years, and even though I'm very experienced successfully soldering those connectors, I always dreaded it ..
Enter the new age of the Power Pole crimp connector! I will be converting all connectors (LiPo batteries and ESCs) for up to 50 amps to Power Poles. I made factory quality crimps from the very start - not a bad one yet after doing at least 8 dual connector sets.
The design is also genderless, with no exposed prongs sticking out that are easy to short out, that rocks beyond belief.
I can connectorise with your crimp connectors many, many times faster than soldering the other ones.
