Nice Clean Installation - VE7TK By
I used this connector in my own configuration to replace an overtaxed Molex connector on a Ten-Tec linear amplifier. This Powerpole chassis mount and it's in-line mate solved a long-standing issue with my high current device. A complete description of the modification using 8 - 30 amp Powerpole terminals in a single housing can be found at:

Great product By
Used this to connect an induction cable to a power supply cabinet.
Looks good and works perfectly. The design makes reverse polarity a
non-issue.

Not Worth the Money... By
I purchase this to allow me to plug numerous devices (Meter Lights, etc) into one low power connection.   In the photo of the Connector they show 4 connections one way and the other 4 switched, this prevents getting a hot in a ground and vice versa... however the only way I could make it work was file off the tabs on one set of grounds to allow the connector to fit.

I even tried to put all 4 grounds on top by rotating the plugs 90 degrees, this was no good as there are NO locking holes in the side of the mount and NO locking holes in the connectors to use the existing locking holes...

Unless you are making a high power connection, or are going to pay particular attention on making the connections NOT WORTH THE MONEY... Go with the 4 pot mounts instead...

The Mount does fit in a panel or box well and looks good, but due to lack of configurations it gets a lower rating...

Editor - your mount will not allow all the configurations you are hinting at, go get a set and try...  I spent 4 hours trying different configs and you cannot do many...  your connectors are missing pin holes and mounts are the same...

A bit odd.... By
Seems like it would be a nice product, with a good finished look. It's odd though that it is not configured in such a way as to allow all 8 mating powerpoles to be locked into one connector, with the 4 blacks in the center the dovetails can't be made to interlock.

Probably not a big deal, if you really want the power carrying capacity to 8 PP connectors all in one, just bite the bullet and step up to the Anderson SB connectors.

Compact DC outlets on Operating Desk and in Vehicle By
I found these make a practical and compact multiple outlet panel(4 outlets @ 12VDC) in both the home station and the vehicle. A simple L bracket with an appropriate sized cutout in one side would be very useful accessory.

The grouping of the Black connectors in the centre prevents inadvertent "reverse polarity" connection of cables to the separate items of equipment.
