Privacy Policy

Last updated October 13, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Powerwerx ("we", "us") collects when you visit https://powerwerx.com/, shop with us, call us or write to us. It covers how we use that information, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

The short version

  • We collect what you give us to place orders and get help, plus basic information about your device and how you use our site.
  • We use it to fill your orders, prevent fraud, support you and tell you about our products. You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time.
  • We never rent or sell your personal information. We share it with companies that help us run our business, with our advertising and analytics partners, and when the law requires it.

1. What we collect

Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, company, billing and shipping addresses, and order details. Your account sign-in details. Payment card details (see How we protect it). Tax-exemption certificates and resale numbers. Messages, attached files, product reviews and survey answers. Phone calls, which may be recorded.

Information collected automatically. Your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, your searches, the site that sent you to us, and your approximate location based on your IP address. We collect this with cookies and similar tools (see Cookies and tracking).

Information from others. Payment processors and fraud-prevention services, for example whether a card and address check out. Marketplaces and dealers, when you buy our products through them. Shipping carriers, for tracking and address corrections. A social network, if you choose to sign in with it. Public sources, such as business directories.

2. How we use it

  • To process, ship and support your orders, returns and warranty claims.
  • To run your account and remember your cart, saved lists and saved cards.
  • To calculate tax and shipping, handle tax exemptions and keep our accounting records.
  • To prevent fraud and protect your account. We screen orders with fraud-prevention services and automated tools, and an order that looks risky may be held for review by our staff.
  • To answer your calls, emails and messages. We use AI tools to transcribe calls, sort and summarize messages, and help our staff reply.
  • To send you order and account updates by email.
  • To send you marketing email. If you give us your email address, including at checkout, we may send you news and offers. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
  • To understand how our site is used and to measure and improve our advertising.
  • To comply with the law, including tax and export rules, and to enforce our Terms of Use.

3. Who we share it with

We never rent or sell your personal information. We share it only in these ways:

  • Companies that work for us. Payment processors, shipping carriers, tax and accounting services, email and customer-service tools, fraud-prevention services, AI tools, and website hosting, security and search providers. Each one gets the information it needs to do its job for us.
  • Advertising and analytics partners. Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Microsoft (Bing) collect information through cookies and tags on our site. We may also send them details of purchases, with your contact details in scrambled (hashed) form, so they can measure and target our ads. See Cookies and tracking.
  • When the law requires it, or to prevent harm. For example, to answer a court order, to file export paperwork with the U.S. government, or to protect our customers and our business from fraud.
  • If our business changes hands. If we sell or merge all or part of our business, your information may go to the new owner.
  • With your permission. For example, if you choose to join a review survey after checkout.

4. Cookies and tracking

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We and our partners use cookies and similar tools, such as pixels, tags and device identifiers, for these purposes:

  • Running the site. Signing in, keeping your cart, checking out securely and stopping bots. The site doesn't work properly without these.
  • Fraud prevention. A fraud-prevention service may set a cookie and store an identifier in your browser that recognizes your device across visits. We use it only to detect payment fraud.
  • Analytics. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to tell us how visitors use our site.
  • Advertising. Google, Meta and Microsoft may use cookies, pixels and similar tools to collect information from our site and elsewhere on the internet. They use it to measure our ads and to show you ads, including our ads on other sites (often called remarketing or interest-based advertising).

Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site may stop working. To opt out of interest-based ads, use these tools:

Our site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control browser signals.

5. How we protect it

Every page of our site uses encryption (HTTPS), and we limit who can access customer information. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that your information will never be accessed without permission.

Your payment card.

  • We never store your full card number or the security code on the back of your card.
  • When your card is approved, our payment processor gives us a token: a stand-in number that is not your card number. Only our processor can match it to your card, and it only works for charges from our own merchant account. If it were ever stolen, it would be useless to anyone else.
  • We keep the token with the card type, last four digits and expiration date so we can finish your order, ship items that come later, issue refunds and, if you have an account, let you pay with the same card next time. You can remove saved cards in My Account.
  • We check the billing address and security code with your card's bank, and screen orders for fraud before they ship.

Your account. Use a password you don't use on any other site. We will never ask for your password by email, text or phone. If a message that claims to be from us asks for it, don't reply; contact us instead.

6. How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. We keep order, invoice and tax records for as long as tax, accounting, warranty and legal needs require. When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

7. Your choices and rights

  • Your account. Sign in to My Account to update your details or to remove saved cards.
  • Marketing email. Click "unsubscribe" in any marketing email. We'll still send you emails about your orders and your account.
  • Cookies and ads. See Cookies and tracking.

Access, correction and deletion. You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights too, such as getting a copy of your information or opting out of targeted advertising. To make a request, use our contact form or call us at 888-321-0073.

We'll confirm your identity first, usually by matching your email address and order details. We may keep information the law requires or allows us to keep, such as order and tax records. Someone you authorize may make a request for you with your signed permission. If we turn down your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact your state attorney general. We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.

8. Children

Our site is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

9. Visitors outside the United States

We are based in the United States. Your information is stored and processed here, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

If a law such as the privacy law of the European Union or the United Kingdom applies to you, here is how it applies. We use your information to perform our contract with you (your orders) and to meet our legal obligations. We also use it for our legitimate interests: running and securing our business, preventing fraud, improving our site and marketing to our customers. You may ask us to give you, correct, delete or transfer your information, or object to or limit how we use it. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll also post a notice on our site or email you.
