The Blue Sea 6006200 is the black version of the 6006, the single circuit ON-OFF battery switch in the m-Series Mini line. Apart from the color nothing changes: it connects or disconnects one battery bank and one load group, rated 300 A continuous and 900 A for a 30-second start on systems up to 48 V DC. It is the Blue Sea battery switch to choose when you want black rather than red.

What is in the box
- The switch and knob
- Nuts and lock washers for the studs
- The isolating rear cover, whose three side pieces snap off for cable entry
Mounting and wiring
There are three ways to fit it: on a surface with holes spaced 2.175 in (55.25 mm), behind a panel through a 2-5/8 in (67 mm) cut-out, or from the front through 2-5/16 in (59 mm).
For the full rating, run 4/0 AWG (120 mm²) cable, one per terminal, with 1.12 in (28.45 mm) of clearance; lighter cable means a lower rating. The 3/8 in-16 (M10) studs are one piece, so they do not loosen; tighten the nuts to 120 in-lb (13.56 N-m).
Shut down in this order: loads off, engine stopped, then OFF. The switch has no alternator field disconnect terminals, and opening the circuit while the alternator charges can damage its diodes.
Common questions
Is the black 6006200 the same switch as the red 6006?
Yes. One instruction sheet and one drawing cover both part numbers, with the same ratings; only the color differs.
Do mounting screws come with it?
No. Bring #10 (M5) screws sized for your surface or panel; the drawing shows where the holes are.
Which cable does it switch?
Usually the positive: Blue Sea's FAQ says the common layout switches the positive cables and joins the negatives on a bus.
