Bench check shows MUCH lower RFI. By Guest

Replaced a 1016 unit with the 1045 in a fire engine. The RFI is almost down to the noise floor now
The spectrum analyzer showed a bit of noise in the 220MHz band, but at VHF/Air/FM broadcast/ (say 70 to 180MHz) it was MUCH cleaner
If radio reception is important, stick with these.

Nice Charger By Guest

Installed this unit in my Jeep Wrangler. Unit works very well and does not produce any RFI. I highly recommend it. The price is higher than the junk you buy off of ebay but you get what you pay for.

Great Charger, far better then the Blue Sea 1016 By Cory

I replaced my Blue Sea 1016 with this unit. It works great in my radio console. No RFI with this unit at all. Well built and a quality product. Lots of current to charge devices quickly. I highly recommend you spend a little more and go with this unit for USB power especially if you are going to be using it around radio devices. Been using for 1 year+
