Customer Reviews
1016 vs 1045 By
They work great, but the RFI at VHF is quite bad.  So we tried the 1045 model
and those were SOoooo MUCH better.  Fire engine radio is happy now.

Adding ferrites alone wasn't really effective..

VHF RFI By
I can confirm the previous reviewer's experience -- this device emits a lot of VHF RFI. It is very broad and uneven. The device itself was quite reliable, and has run for months without a failure. Use caution if you are planning to use this in close proximity to radio or TV antennas.

Looks Great in My Radio Console, but lots of RFI. By
I was wanting to add USB charging capabilities to my mobile radio console. This is a well built and sturdy product. I like that its round and has two mounting option. Super easy to install using the back nut. I am however getting a lot of RFI radiated out of the charger, this is causing my VHF radios to pick up RFI noise from the USB charger. I am going to try using some RF chokes to eliminate these issue.
