Update - issue was resolved with new charger, at no cost, that I received within a few days of my original review.

I connected the charger to the battery and after a couple of hours the charger was extremely hot. I disconnected and unplugged immediately. I called Powerwerx who forwarded me to Bioennno Power. I called them and left a message and I am waiting to speak to Kevin, the mgr. I'm hoping that this is a defective unit and it will be replaced as soon as possible. I'll update once this is resolved.
