The Bioenno Power Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) Battery Model BLF-1240A is a state of the art 12V 40Ah battery. The BLF-1240A is a staple of Bioenno Power's high-power 12V battery line designed for more stationary applications and higher power consumption portable electronics requiring a higher capacity and greater power output battery while demanding a battery which can reliably provide excellent performance over an extended service life. The battery has an integrated PCM (protection circuit module) which provides complete internal cell balancing, complete integrated protection along with integrated charge circuitry and boasts no EMI/RFI (Electromagnetic Interference/Radio-Frequency Interference) and is absolutely quiet! This unit has an available 110VAC/220 VAC AC-to-DC charger, that provides 6A, with a Powerpole connector, sold separately.

Includes built-in PCM (protection circuit module) which provides internal cell balancing and management, protection from overcurrent, undervoltage (overdischarge), overvoltage and short circuiting, and has integrated charging circuitry.

The 40AH pack has been great By Michael

I''ve had a 40AH Bioenno pack for 5-ish years, maybe longer. I've used to operate up to 100W, power up the laptop I use to track my high power rockets, charge the batteries for the computer that controls the rocket's ejection charges and altimeter, and power up various items that I have that run on 12VDC, etc. It holds it's charge very well. If you need a lot of portable DC this is a good choice.

Great Battery By Guest

Purchased the 40AH and the additional inline amp/watt meter and it worked great on ARRL summer field day. We operated a 100w HF rig for 16 hours on voice and CW and it only used 11AH with minimal voltage drop. Very satisfied with the product. A bit pricey, but worth it.
