Powerwerx Battery Capacity Voltage Monitor

We utilized several of the PWRbox2 Portable Power Box units after the Maui Fires.  The Capacity Voltage Monitor display on the units were extremely useful.  Since we know that LiFePO4 batteries (from Bioenno Power) will provide a useful voltage until they are down to 10%, knowing the actual capacity of the charged cells is most important for us.   In fact, I just ordered a few more of their meters to upgrade our older Power Box units.

Used this with the BLF-1220A and works great. Simple to use

I bought a PWRbox2 with this little battery meter integrated. Works as expected, which in and of itself is great. I'm sure I will use it often while deploying my portable Winlink RMS Gateway. However, from a usability perspective, accessing the up/down buttons requires opening the PWRbox2's top, which is definitely not practical. Since this device is built for mounting into a panel or face plate, from an engineering perspective, those buttons should be on the face, not behind where in some cases they would never be accessible. For the $35usd price tag, there are other options with all the buttons on the face. Don't get me wrong, it is a fine meter. If the buttons were on the face, it would be a high 4 rating or perhaps a 5.
