Good quality, stiff insulation By David
On quality and function it's easily a 5-star product and without hesitation I'd give it that except it doesn't quite achieve "perfection" for me.
They used SPT-2 lamp cord. There's nothing technically wrong with this on paper. It's 105°C, 16/2, PVC that has good physical toughness, resistance to oil, acid, etc. It's absolutely high quality and safe.
Understand though that is that this is stiff insulation for a short adapter. Helps if your mating PowerPole is solidly mounted.

SIMPLE By Well built and worth while investment
This is a very cheap item that meets my needs in my mobile ham shack. I Love Powerpole equipment. Makes life so much simpler.

Absolutely the Best By w0bg@comcast.net
Before purchasing I shopped all around for something I could just build myself. You may well find that finding a female utlity socket at the quality and level of simplicity of this product is challenging at best. For the price, buy this one. By the time you add your own power pole ends, you will only have save a few bucks and you may end up with something that looks only half as good.
