Customer Reviews
No BT, great price for all of the features! By
I don't use Bluetooth, having one with it I wish I would have found this version first. I prefer a hand mic or a wired headset. I now have 2 PPT buttons doing nothing from my other 878 and mobile. I wanted a second 878, so this was perfect for the cost. Once people understand CPS, any negative reviews on other places have no weight. For the cost, battery life and features there's no one else to compare. I was tempted with an Alinco, but some of them (if not all) are made by Anytone, and don't offer the same huge battery. The receive sensitivity is good (able to hear just as well if not better than my FTM-300 on the same antenna) and the analog audio is great but not better than Yeasu or Icom ...but they also cost way more. Anyone saying their Anytone on Analog sounds better than those Japanese are blowing smoke...you are getting an awesome radio for the price, and features noting that it's best on DMR. Squelch controls, volume settings are all digital, they could be better but again this is intended to be mainly used on DMR. The high rating is mainly for the balance of features for the price, not being a perfect radio, analog is good not Japanese clear and punchy...but again the primary use is DMR.
