I stored these battery holders in a car which does get hot in summer. When I finally went to use them, the plastic was brittle and started very easily breaking off making the holder useless.
The plastic on the radio itself held up OK.

A backpacking must have! By DB62
I already have one, and will be getting 1 more. Great to have when being outdoors for an extended period of time. With no way to recharge my lithium battery pack, I do have a solar powered battery charger, for NiMH AA batteries, and works excellent with my UV3D & UV6X radios.
They are quality made, and work great. Highly recommended.
