I built a portable solar system for ham radio. I had four panel mount items, USB, Cigarette Lighter plug, switch and voltmeter. Installed two on each side of a plastic ammo box. These panels gave it a very nice finished look. I did have to mount mine vertically so the printing on panel devices is sideways as this is intended to be mounted horizontally. This also allows for some errors when drilling as minor mistakes are hidden by the mounting plate.
